Personal Profile:

For the past six years I have worked as an online and classroom based Tutor of English to students from across the world. I have had the pleasure of teaching young learners from schools, university graduates and business professionals from Asia, South America and Europe.
Through education and development of functional language skills. I have worked with all categories of learners from a diverse background of social and cultural beliefs.
I have further developed the personal skills and knowledge necessary to interact with clients and students who are on their journey of language development.
I have the teaching experience that is needed to work with all age groups of varying levels of educational abilities. I believe that I can help individuals achieve academic and employability success through the three key areas of coaching, teaching and focused mentoring support.

January 2021 - May 2021: English (Conversation) Language Teacher Engoo/Bibo, Tokyo, Japan
Working with Japanese business professionals to develop spoken conversational skills, self-confidence and presentational awareness in social and working environments.
To provide relevant and constructive feedback and assessment after each 1:1 session.

May 2020- December 2020: Online English Teacher, Education First, London, England
Teaching online Beginner to Advanced level English classes to adult students from China and Brazil.
To maintain a high level of professional conduct and cultural awareness whilst representing Education First.
Averaged 40 hours a week of high-grade teaching rated at 4.95 by students.

April 2019 - May 2020: English Language Tutor (Online) Lingoda, Berlin, Germany
Teaching English (equivalent to Level 3 Functional Skills) to international students in a 1:1 and group class setting.
To complete individual student reports after completion of each class.
To observe all online safeguarding protocols during the recording of all taught sessions.

February 2018 - To Present: English Language Tutor (Online) DaDaABC, Shanghai, China
Teaching online English Language sessions on a 1:1 basis to children from the ages of 5 to 16 years of age.
To complete lesson assessment reports for each student taught to record the learning and progression journey.


Invigilate online monthly Student Assessment Tests and complete marking grids for independent examiners.

Oct 2015 - To Present: Learning Progress Coach, Trinity Green Campus, Bradford College
Working with 16-19 year old students to ensure successful completion of vocational courses alongside GCSE Maths and English subjects.
To deliver timetabled Citizenship related Tutorial sessions guided through an approved Scheme of work.
Monitoring daily student attendance and to target unauthorised absence and the barriers which prevent regular College attendance.
To complete Student Progression Audits and Reviews for each term and to construct student Action Plans where additional course related support is required.
To facilitate Support Plans when student performance is not at the required level ensuring all discussions involve teaching staff and parental acknowledgement.

Dec 2012 - Aug 2015: Family Key Worker, Support for Families Program, Avanta UK, Bradford
Caseload management of sixty family group clients who after long term mental health issues, drug and alcohol dependency and personal physical recovery are referred by statutory agencies for dedicated employment support.
Built trust and acceptance with this diverse group of clients to achieve identified goals.
Achieved outcomes leading to employment, training and education.
Planned job-search and self-empowerment training.

Jul 2012 - Nov 2012: Work Activity Placement Officer, Interserve Working Futures, Leeds
Prioritised work placement to arrange the necessary support for all differently abled clients.
Group workshop assessments and coaching to include information sharing and motivational talk sessions to prevent unnecessary psychological pressure being put onto the client in their job search activities.
Provided post placement to allow them to use this experience as a means of devising future job goals and personalised direction towards employment.
